Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services continues a long tradition of independent, family-owned funeral homes in their communities, serving families throughout central Minnesota. They strive to provide unique and personalized funeral and memorial services.
We created an updated website design to integrate with new third-party content management system.
Patton-Schad asked to have their website, which was built in 2003, get a makeover. They wanted a website with a fresh new look and to have a larger screen presence. The purpose of the site is not only to get their name out there but to also educate visitors on the funeral process from preplanning to the service. The site also provides information on current obituaries and services, benefits, and local community information.
Pat Patton is the president and co-owner of Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services in Sauk Centre, Minn., and has served as Minnesota's representative to the NFDA Policy Board since 2008. Patton is an active NFDA PAC fundraiser and contributor and convention volunteer. He is a regular participant in the NFDA Convention and Leadership Conference.
He has been an active member of the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association (MFDA) for 26 years. He has served on the association's Board of Directors since 2001, including a term as president in 2006-07. He has been a member of MFDA's Legislative Committee since 1989. He is a past member of the Finance Committee; he served as that committee's chair from 1992-2003.
Who said print is dead? We created print elements including brochures and posters for 2011 Executive Board Member for National Funeral Directors Association campaign.
Mr. Patton wanted the designs for his printed elements to stand out from what other candidates have done past and/or present. We decided to play up being from Minnesota and going to the University of Minnesota, so we gave all elements a color scheme of maroon and gold. We are happy to say that Mr. Patton won!
Winters Family Chiropractic is located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Dr. Mark worked at one of the largest family practices in the state of Minnesota for a year in Burnsville, and has decided to bring his vision of a family practice to Central Minnesota. They specialize in helping numerous families achieve wellness through natural preventative health care choices.
Winters Family Chiropractic wanted a website that they could interact with and update. After some deliberation we decided to use WordPress for their CMS. After tweaking a template and integrating a clean business design we were able to work the kinks out on all levels.
Schurman & Winters Law Firm is a general practice firm located in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. It was formerly known as the Schurman Law Office and was established over 20 years ago by Dennis W. Schurman. Now under the ownership of Thomas P. Winters, the values at Schurman & Winters Law Firm have not changed.
A new name but same values. Schurman & Winters Law Firm asked us to help them out with transitioning to new ownership, but keep it familiar. We created a new updated logo as well as updated their website to fit their growing needs.
In a galaxy far away there is a planet much like ours. Amongst their population there was a small group that opposed the state of the world. They are League 510 made up of TK, Mont, Mr. Know-it-all, and DJ Blacksmith. Thus League 510 began their musical journey and gave birth to Town Techno, a form of music that would unite the people in heightened awareness. Town Techno inspires you to take action, to appreciate the fun in life, to believe in yourself, and to believe in The League.
After their first video company ran off with the money, League 510 came to us to help them get this video finished. With barely a budget or time we stepped up to get their video finished.
Want to know whether an artist is worth your cash to see perform? Want to know if the vibe and culture of a venue fits your "Steeze"? Are you an artist looking for a place to perform? Look no further! Music producer BeatStreetS chronicles the best venues and the best artists for you, including interviews with the artists.
BeatStreets came with an idea of starting up a video blog that would dig into the depths of the music scene in the Bay Area. He would do all the shooting and editing but need an intro graphic and name plate animation to go along with it.
DJ Storm is one of the fastest rising stars among the nightlife community in California's bay area. Spinning a masterful collection of hip hop, exclusive mash-ups, and top 40′s, he has a unique ability to get a party started and keep the party going like no other.
DJ Storm was starting to make a name for himself and wanted all the goodies to back it up. He asked us to help out on the completion of his website as well as create some visual effects to go along with his music to be placed on YouTube. We helped with coding and debugging, server side assistance, and graphic creation and the web site. On the video side we created animations that would change depending on the bass and treble levels for each track.
The book depicts a diverse cast of characters through an evolution from creation to thought. Starting in the Darwinian sense, the hand-drawn creatures float underwater and emerge to play on land and float in air. Moving faster and faster, they break the time/space continuum and are released from the boxes into the platitudes of space. Here a new form of enlightenment is found as Volla's creatures discover that they are growing into themselves both physically and mentally. They are now aware of the adage "Cogito ergo sum" (I think therefore I am)", but what will they do with that? Find out for yourself.
Mr. Volla wanted a video to go with his book openings in New York
and San Francisco. The purpose of the video was to make is drawings come to life and interact with each other. By taking scans of the drawings and cutting those up we were able to manipulate his drawings to life.
Since 2008, Down With A.P.P. has had the pleasure to work with some remarkable people and organizations. We have worked on everything from identity rebrands to music videos, but most importantly remembering that our customers drive this machine.
